The Statement: Before-Reality.net is a network of neural spawns created by, none other then myself, Brandon Heyer. Ranging from photography to pointless scripts, this website, and all those contained in the "BR dot net" domain may or may not have something you are looking for. Frankly I could care less. But if you find something that tickles your fancy, uh, sinks your submarine, shines your shoes, or sharpens your blade, let your friends know (I know you must have some)! While my main objective for this website and all the others created through the network is a holding place for my creations, whether they are good or evil, I still hope that someday, somewhere, someone will appreciate a little tid-bit of the site, take it back with them, and share it with their friends. Then again I could just wake up.
The Update-O-Matic
And I will charm, I will slice (2006-12-21 02:20:12) - It is the winter again, and that means I'm off of school -- hoorah. The problem at hand is that, despite my 40, maybe soon to be 20 or 40, hour weeks of work, I still manage to get bored, and thus with boredom comes redesigning the webpage. While I know i have better things to work on (see: before-the-gallery, photography, misc. games, life), I feel like I must yet again rework the design of this fine page. I don't think the general layout will change much, but I want to create a bit more of a "spicy" design and color scheme for the page.
And with that I have returned to my trustworth paint chip randomizer, which now has a bigger cousin, the big paint chip randomizer. I think I might actually allow you to save specific colors and pain chip lines with the big one, so you can randomize something better from what you have. That, however, is neither here or now. I did come up with a pretty cool color scheme with one though:
As you can clearly see it's pretty damn cool. I did work with red as a layout for at least two, maybe three layouts, which were any number of redesigns before the current one. I like these colors simply because they all show up relatively well on each other (bar the red-tan on red). I might tinker a bit before going to bed tonight, we shall see.
In retrospect, did you know that bar has 36 definitions?

What a Loser! (2006-01-12 19:50:50) - Just a quick update for one of the satelite sites, Become A Loser. I added a little page that outputs all the emails people have sent through the sites to notify their "loser" friends. A few of my favorites follow:

The Missing Link (2005-12-27 21:59:32) - Ok, so I have finally added the links section. At least parts of it. I envision it growing a bit more (quite so actually), thus keep a look out for that. Because I know you are looking real, real, real hard. I also fixed the binary+ name converter, it had failed to work for some reason, oh that is right, the server changed PHP configuration and I had somehow overlooked it whilst I fixed everything else.
And my new years resolution ahead of time: write in my damned bLog. (laugh)
Some cheese with my wine. (2005-11-08 02:27:39) - So apparently I forgot to realize a major change in the way my server handles variables, and due to poor programming on my part I needed to update some things. Fear not, the important scripts I updated (my light bulb and The Loser Page) work now! Peace!
Let Them Have Stats (2005-08-22 15:17:32) - Today I finally added the stats to my lightbulb script. Now everyone can see all the nice useless information available there, such as the time the lights has been on or who broke the light, etc. Fun eh?
It's Automatic, Baby! (2005-08-16 21:44:42) - Well I finally decided to make the Update-O-Matic live up to it's name. No longer do I need to edit a damn file! I've integrated it nicely into my WordPress database so it just grabs the info from there. Cool eh? Well all the old updates are available at: Really Old Updates, incase anyone cares!
